Pet Behaviour
Pets are very cute and it is quite an experience to have a big fur family. They add a lot of fun to your home especially when you add a new member to your big family you feel excited. But, what if you discovered that your new puppy is showing signs of bad behaviour? What if you noticed that he is showing signs of aggressive behavior.
Of course you have to do something about it.
Some forms of bad behaviour include when you are feeding him and he is barking or showing signs of discomfort towards anyone around, even if no one touched his food, he is just not comfortable having anybody nearby. This is definitely a sign of aggression. It is not acceptable behaviour, especially when you are outside.
You have to train him and get rid of this bad behavior. Your puppy is exactly like a baby. He needs to learn new things. You have to give him a lot of time and to be patient with him, otherwise, he will not be trained and you will suffer from his continued bad behavior. Simply, when you offer food to your puppy, put his food in front of him. When he starts eating,
take the food away from him. Of course he will bark or growls. Make him sit and calm him down. Then, give him his food again. He has to know that you are the master.
As long as you are around, he is completely safe. You can protect him from any danger. Neither other pets nor children can harm him. You are the only one responsible for him. You can offer him food and you are the one who can take it away from him. It’s very important to train your aggressive puppy. Otherwise, when he grows up, you will be in a big problem.
He has to learn how to socialize. If you leave your aggressive puppy without training he will not be able to make any approach with other puppies. When he grows up he will be
alone. Most of the cities now have dog parks. He won’t be able to go there.
Besides, training your aggressive puppy will make you spend a lot of time with him. There will be a strong relationship between both of you. Once you put the rules and he follows, you will have no problems with him anymore. The first rule you have to establish is that you are the boss and he must obey your orders.
The most important is that never hit or punish your puppy. You have to be patient and to play with him a lot. The more time you gave him, the more satisfied you will be.
